Zeynep Serinkaya Winter is a doctoral student in Media Studies at Nottingham Trent University. Her PhD research explores changing audience identifications with Yeşilçam, intersection of nostalgic attachments with Yeşilçam with populist discourses and emerging intimate publics around Yeşilçam revival in “New Turkey”. Zeynep’s research is funded by AHRC’s Midlands4Cities Doctoral Training Fellowship.
